At the January 21, 2015 Windows 10 event held by Microsoft the company gave the world a peek into the upcoming windows 10 update. The much anticipated windows 10 now scheduled to be released latter part of 2015 after the technical review ends on April 15, 2015. It will be a free update for those who are using Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 during the first year. If not used within the allowed time period, there will be a charge after the first year. A new peer-to-peer (P2P) technology provides a faster method. Some may not be happy with the P2P model due to security concerns including PCs that has not been verified by Microsoft. Windows 10 is expected to be launched simultaneously in 190 countries around the world.
Microsoft’s next generation operating system, Windows 10, is expected to come with a new biometric authentication system known as Windows Hello and expected to replace use of passwords. Not much is known at this time about the software. However, some reports that it will allow Xiaomi phones to override Android operating system. As usual, any subsequent updates will be going directly to your devices. It is an attempt to keep more than 1.5 billion worldwide Windows users happy.
